Everyone looks up to their subprogram influence. Either if it is a president, an actress, a model, or even an athlete. People look up to their role models for the great things they read achieved in their lives. With my mom being from Cleveland, we grew up watching all Cleveland teams: The Browns, The Indians, and of course The Cavaliers. The 2003 NBA draft pick comes on and my team, The Cleveland Cavaliers got the number one draft pick. Not only is get the number one draft pick amazing, but we also got the one and only himself from St. Mary High School, LeBron James. Cleveland could not fork up been more excited to get this young athlete. James lead the Cavs to consecutive playoff appearances from
2006-2010 and even made the finals in 2007. LeBron was my role model for the great things had done for the community of Cleveland, and how he played the game. In 2010, LeBrons contract was up with Cavs, and he had to make a last to stay with us or sign with a disparate team. He decided to do a huge video recording appearance called The Decision and make his announcement live. After he made his decision to leave the Cavs, I never looked at LeBron the same way as I did, and he is no longer my role model.
Who would have thought, this back to back most valuable player player would show his true superhero character and reach the Villain in Cleveland.
In the fall, I am release to wreak my talents to South Beach. These are the exact words out of LeBron Jamess sing himself when he made his decision to turn his back on Cleveland. No one would have cared if he left, we would have go on but it is the way he did it and acted that made him become the villain. LeBron could have let the Cavs know he was not going to come back next season well in advance than he did. He also did not have to do it live on national TV in front of millions of viewers. The thing that hurt me the most, was he waited till afterward the trades and the draft picks.
