2. Describe as amply as possible the lives of the arrest, Dee, and Maggie prior to the events of the story. How are the following incidents from the knightly also reflected in the present actions: (a) Dees hatred of the old star sign; (b) Dees ability to stare down any disaster; (c) Maggies burn from the fire; (d) the grows having been hooked in the side while milking a cow; (e) Dees refusal to accept a quilt wwhen she went away to college?
The mother worked hard to provide for Dee and Maggie. She wasnt a dainty woman. She was always preventative over Maggie. The mother and Maggie were closer than either of them were to Dee. The mother didnt examine Dee most times. She was comfortable with whatever God gave her.
Dee has always been candid and determined. Seemed rather brazen for that day in time.She was never snug with what she was given (things werent fancy enough for Dee)She carried herself as if she was better than the great deal and the place she came from.
Maggie was meek and humble with low self-esteem. She clung to her mother and learned hard work. She felt inferior to Dee.
(a) Dee told her mother that wherever she and Maggie chose to live, she would pluck to get there to visit, but that she wouldnt kick in her friends.



When Dee did decide to bring a friend, they didnt stay very long.
